Jody Beats | Album/Artist Debut

Saturday January 25th

We are pleased to host and support our Public Brewing teammate Josh (Dead Kel) in his latest artistic venture. Josh has been a bartender at Public for a few years now and has many side projects. This exclusive event features his latest project, Jody Beats, and he will be bringing you smooth, lo-fi beats and some soulful hip-hop vibes, with a touch of classic record scratching. He is a super talented and passionate person and has really invested a lot of time and energy into this project so we are hoping you can come see him in action!

Tickets are $10 for the event and with that comes a free drink, making it the perfect way to unwind on a Saturday evening. Doors open at 7pm, music starts at 8pm. Get there early to grab a drink, settle in, and mingle with fellow music and beer lovers. JodyBeats will be featured in our Barrel Room, a cozy intimate space downstairs where you can truly immerse yourself in the beats.

SECRET SIPS: A Speakeasy Evening

Friday February 7th

Dress in your finest Roaring 20's/Speakeasy attire and transport yourselves back to the Prohibition Era the evening of Friday, February 7th (except we can legally serve alcohol).

Speakeasies were bars or clubs used to secretly consume alcohol during Prohibition in the US (1920-1933). The term "speakeasy" comes from the idea of speaking quietly to avoid attention. Many speakeasies were often hidden in plain sight, behind other businesses, or even in homes. Public Brewing is home to a "speakeasy", except we call it the Barrel Room. It is a cozy, dimly lit room with a bar, tables, and chairs/sofas for your leisure, much like a typical speakeasy.

Check-In: When you enter Public, take the stairwell on your right by the foosball table down to the Barrel Room (stairwell closest to entrance on 58th St). There you will check in with our bartender and receive your free drink ticket. You can order drinks in the Barrel Room or upstairs in the taproom. Included food will be readily available but our normal dining menu will also be available to order from.

CRAFTS & DRAFTS: INDOOR MAKER'S MARKET

𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐬 & 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐬 is a new venture for us here at Public Brewing but one close to our hearts. Many of us here have and enjoy our own artistic endeavors outside of these walls so we look forward to providing a space for local artisans, craftspeople, and makers to showcase their work. Crafts & Drafts will occur monthly on select Sundays in our Brewhouse Lounge and Barrel Room from 11AM to 3PM. Enjoy some grub from our kitchen, our normal run of beverages as well as Brewmosas and Beerchaladas as you sip and stroll through the vast array of vendors on hand. There is no fee to attend.

We do not charge vendor fees to be in attendance so all vendors will sell their goods and retain 100% of those sales to continue supporting their small business. We encourage everyone to shop local and Crafts & Drafts will continue supporting that idea monthly.

All vendor inquiries can be directed to rex@publicbrewingcompany.com. Be wary of vendor scams or people posing as individuals in charge of this event online. No fees will ever be charged or collected for our event.

GALENTINE'S DAY

Whether or not you've seen Parks and Recreation or are aware of the delightful character, Leslie Knope, you can't deny all the reasons to celebrate Galantine's Day -- a global holiday that celebrates women's friendship. Made famous by the hit television series, we're excited to host our very own Galentine's Day event here at Public in partnership with The Cracked Pig -- a local artisan who will provide the hands-on entertainment.

As should all Galentine's Day events, this will take place on Thursday, February 13th from 6:30PM to 8:30PM, the day before Valentine's Day.

Tickets are limited and currently available for $40. The ticket price includes your first beverage as well as a charcuterie board featuring berries, chocolate, craisins, salami, crackers, cheese, and a beef stick (vegetarian options available). As part of the event, attendees will pick through The Cracked Pig's massive collection of wares to design their own pair of custom wooden earrings to take home.
